Refund Policy

General Policy

Bids are generally non-refundable. When you place a bid, you are paying for an immediate, consumed digital service — a ranked position on a live, competitive leaderboard. Like advertising spend, the value is delivered as soon as your payment is confirmed and your rank updates.

When We Do Refund

We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

Duplicate charge: Your payment was charged more than once for the same bid due to a technical error on our side.
Wrong amount charged: You were charged more than the quoted amount displayed before checkout.
Payment processed but listing not created: Your payment was captured but your listing failed to appear on the leaderboard due to a server error.
Technical failure during checkout: A payment was captured but no matching order exists in our system.

When We Do Not Refund

You changed your mind after payment.
Your listing was outbid by another user.
Your listing was moderated/removed for violating our Terms of Service.
You did not achieve a specific rank (rankings are not guaranteed).
You submitted the wrong URL and the listing went live.

How to Request a Refund

Email support@bidboard.lol within 7 days of the charge with:

The listing URL or ID.
The Razorpay Payment ID (shown in your email receipt).
A description of the issue.

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Effect of Refunds on Rankings

Refunds reduce the listing's total for ranking purposes. The refund amount is recorded as a negative adjustment in the bid ledger. The listing's position may change if the adjustment causes it to fall below a competing listing.

Chargebacks

Filing an unauthorised chargeback with your bank may result in your listing being suspended and your IP being blocked from future use. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we are happy to resolve legitimate issues quickly.
